Realize Impact is pleased to announce its $2.5M investment in SolarAPP Foundation. Solar Automated Permitted Portal (SolarAPP+) is an online instant permitting software for eligible rooftop residential solar and storage projects, designed to help code authorities achieve safe, code compliant rooftop solar and storage installations. This platform will reduce wait times and lower installation costs for municipalities, installers, and customers, thus supporting SolarAPP Foundation’s mission in advancing the electrification and decarbonization of homes through the facilitation and growth of distributed solar, storage, and building carbonization technologies. The SolarAPP Foundation, an independent nonprofit, expands the reach and capabilities of SolarAPP+ by fostering collaboration with local governments, the solar industry, and community stakeholders. With support from Realize Impact, the Foundation will amplify its efforts to promote SolarAPP+ nationwide, with a focus on underserved communities in the energy transition.
