Fiscally Sponsoring: Cecil’s Place Sober Living

Cecil’s Place Sober Living runs on the mission to provide a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for individuals in recovery from Substance Use Disorder (SUD), particularly Opioid Use Disorder (OUD), in northern New England. The organization is committed to empowering their residents on their journey to lasting sobriety and personal growth. The Recovery Housing Scholarship Program will provide housing scholarships for the first 1-3 months of the program, based on demonstrated need. This initiative is designed to relieve economic distress for residents who are often financially vulnerable and face significant challenges as they rebuild their lives. Housing stability has been proven to improve recovery outcomes, with individuals who have secure housing being more likely to adhere to their treatment plans and sustain employment. The goal of Cecil’s Place is to ensure that 75% of residents maintain housing stability and employment after one year, rely less on emergency services, and establish self-sufficiency.
