Fiscally Sponsoring: Lighthouse

F

The Lighthouse Nonprofit Leadership and Services Expansion Project aims to enhance and expand resources for under-resourced nonprofit leaders in the Denver metro area, with a focus on women, BIPOC+, and LGBTQ+ leaders. By supporting these nonprofit employees, the project aims to enhance their capacity to serve marginalized communities more effectively, ultimately contributing to greater social and economic equity. The project focuses on three main initiatives:

  • Advancement of Education and Capacity Building: This initiative provides nonprofit leaders with educational resources, strategic tools, and leadership development opportunities to improve their skills and organizational effectiveness. The goal is to better equip these leaders to address social, economic, and health challenges in their communities.
  • Relief and Support for Underprivileged Nonprofits: Through the Pro Membership Sponsorship Program, the project offers critical resources and tools at no cost to small and mid-sized nonprofits facing financial constraints. This support helps these organizations maximize their impact and better serve distressed and underprivileged populations.
  • Facilitation of Strategic Partnerships and Resource Sharing: The project promotes collaboration among nonprofits through an online marketplace for resource exchange. This helps distribute resources efficiently and equitably, fostering a supportive community environment and addressing resource scarcity. Lighthouse will provide sponsored access to 50 under-resourced nonprofits.
