July has been a busy month for philanthropic investments. We’ve invested over a half million dollars into six companies and funds:
MedMountain Ventures – The world needs healthcare innovation, yet most healthcare companies never make it to market. Our niche is finding the best companies and helping them find their way.
Apis & Heritage – Helping Workers of Color Own Their Futures. A fund that buys companies with large percentage BIPOC workforces, helping make those companies employee owned.
Hawaii Ulu Producers Co-op – Try Hawaiʻi-grown ʻulu (breadfruit), the incredibly versatile staple that’s good for people and planet.
VIREO Madagascar – Planting 1,000 Paulownia seedlings to create a sustainable source of hardwood in Madagascar.
Starlight Cardiovascular – Helping heal little hearts. Starlight Cardiovascular is developing a portfolio of devices to treat babies born with congenital heart defects.
If you come across an impact investment like these and want to use your donor advised fund or philanthropic gift, we can make that happen. realizeimpact.org/phig
